Saw some good pictures of Ulysse Nardin's new Moonstruck yesterday - that's a damn fine looking watch. And only $85,000

Not sure how I feel about it. It's definitely a UN though.

I think the only UN I would wear is the blue/white Marine Diver.

Hmmmmm, that one's not really yanking my chain, Roff.

Personally I'd have a UN Freak over that one any day of the week. AND it's considerably cheaper. :D

Oh come on people - moonphase accurate to 12 hours in over 70 years, a talking point forever, and just look at those lugs - this is just gorgeous.

OK, maybe slightly OTT

Case, lugs, bezel... great. But I can't get past the national geographic feel of the dial. It looks a bit hokey to me. Buy I certainly appreciate the technical achievement.

At $85000 wow, money doesn't always buy taste.

Roff, I like it but If I had the cash and if I could be swayed from my favourite brand I would go for one of these bad boys!

Not the easiest to read, I agree it's very striking though. The case and bezel in particular are beautiful.

I like UN: the more of them I see, the more I want one.

Those are great too, I suggest you allow yourself to be swayed. Just don't put it in the fire.

Hmmm...I still think I'd go for the Tellurium: http://www.ulysse-nardin.com/watch.jsp?ID_Page=100011_100002_10000T

I mean, how can you pass up a flexible spring that bends to accurately represent the terminator? UN makes the most amazing feats of engineering. Only $118,000 for the platinum version...not sure about the gold one.

No doubt Roff (and I do love a good movement), but I'm with Mark on the whole "National Geographic" thing. If it wasn't for the Ordinance Survey map, I'd like it a whole lot more.
