I think it was around 2005/6-ish. Quite rare as, if I remember rightly, there were only 100 made.

Just as a related aside, the 42mm standard Steelfish is quite rare in itself as it was basically a transition piece to the current 44mm model. Basically the original Steelfish at 42mm was too similar to the standard SO, so after only a year of production it was replaced with the 44mm model. I had a 42mm model, but chopped it in when the 44mm came out.

This white, GMT of 1000 metres is incredible.

Ended at 1650 USD. What do you guys say, fair price for it on a leather band, tang buckle?

Well I just couldnt press the button. Guilt from the recent SA purchase and the forthcoming Steinghart LE stopped me. I sure would like to have one but am waiting till next year for other watch.

I thought it went at a reasonable price.

Yeah, it is hard to find specs on it. I wonder what does fit? I have a XL strap I can use on it when it gets here.

Price-wise, it seems pretty good. You'd pay in that range for a Colt GMT or regular steelfish of that vintage. The only sale reference I could find online was 1600 pounds, which is about $2600...
