So now that I have finished laughing from Thursday's discussion, let us make the gesture of silence and navigate our respective pointing devices back toward sanguine discussion (or at least what passes for it on this thread)...

Let me reiterate a question: has it been decided what strap(s) we will be getting with the watch? Originally, it said 1 black and 1 TBD. Has the 2nd one been determined or dropped? I think a brown one might look spiffy.

Hi all,

Gunter will choose the straps. His strapsmith will pair our watches design with the appropriate leathers, don't know about that yet.

I see people are slow on paying, which is a headache for me to be honest! Please pay as soon as you can and explicitly state so here so I can do a count, thansk!

I must also apologize for not being quick to replying to my PMs or this forum, it seems that life happens all at once sometimes!

Just a couple of quick notes, the watches are looking really good! They are about to ship if you pay now. Otherwise you will have to wait after Christmas break.

As I said before, to get the discount they have to create a group purchase discount under one customer, which was me. The total when I split it up was 340 + the initial costs so it comes down to 350 Euros. I am sure all of you are pleased with the final price so again, do not put me in a situation where I have to pay out of my own pocket for a watch with your initials! I took this responsibility and it is time for you to prove to me if I was right or wrong to do so.

based on our earlier polls I have something else in the works, it is based on our second choices and the most controversial criteria we discussed, and I think it will be just as nice as this one, though I am not sure about the pricing. Expected to be around 850-950 for this 7750 piece. But more about that next month.

Altair, has not this trial in purgatory taught you the axiom that the road to hell is paved with good intentions? I hope everyone does pay up ASAP, and am sorry to see you being distressed for something you have been good enough to try to do for us.

I, for one, would be willing to sign up for the next watch now if you want to get a list going.

I think it's only T-Man that hasn't posted that he has payed yet.

If T-Man is the same as Tim "down under" he had indicated that he paid.

I did a tally through the thread postings and the only ones I see that didnt post a message saying they paid are the Admin (which I doubt hasnt paid) and cxbxax.

How about a list of who has and hasnt paid. I know I paid but it was in two payments since I am not able to read the instructions and sent 340 Euros the first time, followed by an additional 10 Euros after Roff pointed out my error

I don't want to embarass people my listing who hasn't paid - they may simply have been away from their PCs, but Altair, if you aren't haveing any joy with PMs, admin should have a record of e-mail address from when they registered so may be able to contact people that way.

I'm sure that everyone is still 'in' on this - a heck of a watch for a stooopidly low price.

Yes I was dubbed the T-man earlier in the piece (not to be confused with Mr T of course  ) and I have paid as indicated.

Exciting times, can't wait to see the final result. Thanks again Altair!

Im with you, the Euro is kicking my Saudi Riyal's ass as well since our currency is linked to the good ol' USD. But hey its a small price to pay considering what we are getting!

Sounds good. They are probably better at matching styles/colors than I am.

In case it wasn't obvious enough, I paid (on Dec 9th).

The possibility of a 7750-based group buy is intriguing. I want to see how this one turns out, but assuming I like the result I would probably go for a chrono.
