IMHO the SA iin white is quite flashy anyway! I think the diamonds overstate the watch itself! Sorry!

Cheers

The diamonds are too much man, it makes the watch more feminine IMHO.
Diamonds are a girls best friend

i like it with the diamonds and the single row is nice..btw. when did you get the SA? not that looks identical to the one on Breitling site, as per my tread:http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14730

IMO- diamonds give the watch a touch of class.

I prefer without. The SA looks BA because it's a whacking great hunk of steel. Putting sparklies in it tips it towards the feminine, in my humble opinion. Not as bad as I thought, though. It's still looks good.

I'm no help because I'm torn too! I was pretty sure I wanted the diamonds until I had the SA on my wrist, it then seemed like maybe just a little too over the top. I think it works on a 44mm watch, but 48mm... I'm not so sure. I think both look good and if you don't have a lot invested in the custom bezel why not keep it. If I had a little more cash to play with right now I'd consider buying it from you to test out myself.

I do appreicate your pictures, it will definitely help with my decision. The factory diamond bezel is stunning... however my budget for such a thing is not.

PS... I have a 39mm Diamond Tag and it cracks me up just thinking of the two side by side. It's a shame it's so small because it's a beautiful watch. It being quartz is also a deal breaker for my current interest... so its gotta go.

I think Time Bandit is in my head... I have been torn on that decision for a while now. While I do like diamonds I just can't decide if I want them on my SA. I like the chanel settings personally, but to lose those screws on the side would kill me! They just give the watch a manly look that I wouldn't change so I sit undecided for now. I bought it because of the way it looks and felt on my wrist. Writing this I think I have come to the conclusion that it is just to awsome in its own right for me to change. I think I found my answer. :wowzers

Might be a dumb idea but I have thought about having a custom bezel created just with 8 separate diamonds. One day I'll probably do a little photoshop experiment, and if I like it you never know, I might post something that no one has seen before. :lingsrock: To me it sounds like it might be the balance I want.

I'm late to the party on this one, but diamonds on an SA is just way way too much IMHO. As Andrew said, the SA is massive attention grabber anyway, and to chuck a load of diamonds on it takes it well and truly into Gangsta Rapper territory. Great if you're 50 Cent - considerably less great if you're Roger from Accounts!

But then again, I'm British, and wearing too brightly coloured a tie to the office can be seen as too much in this country!

Fear,

I would be interested to know how you determined that the diamonds in the picture are of poor quality? typically, unless diamonds are of SI-3 or I-1 or less, the inclusions are not visible to the naked eye and require a 10X magnification loop to appropriately assess the grade of a diamond.

Unless you have some super vision and within that super vision have the ability to see at 10X magnification, stating the diamonds are of poor quality is a little premature. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not a big fan of diamonds on a mens watch, especially on something with as much presence as the Super Avenger. I would say go without the diamonds.

NOT! The diamonds are waaaaay too "Gangsta" on that watch. I'm not a fan of the ice in the first place, but on this one it seems especially over the top.
