When I get home from work, I take off my watch. Like Maverick said, there's a clock in every room so no need for a watch.

I am now in the habit of doing the same thing. I take off my Breitling when I get home because there's more of a chance it will get knocked around vs when I am at work; however, I do feel a bit nekkid without a watch and usually throw on my Hamilton because it's a tank.

I feel naked without a watch on my wrist!

I have work, rest and play watches and usually change what I wear once or twice a day.

So yes, I take my watch off when I get home but immediately put another one on!

I like your thinking! Maybe I need a "At home watch" :D Now, what to get....

I'm usually so conscious of my watch during the day that when I'm at home, I dont want to have to worry about it...so I'll need a tough one. But not something just to have one, I have to like it....hmmm.

On the piss casual watch - Check
On the piss sorta formal watch - Check
Weekend watch - "Recent" Check
After work at home watching TV watch - Fail

I thought that I was sorted but hanging around here and listening to you guys is going to cost me a fortune :P

I tend to take my watch off when I get in. As said earlier, all the damage is normally done at home, and also I don't have to worry when the wine comes out!

My watch comes off and straight on the winder as soon as I get in from work. Even weekends I tend to take the watch off around tea time and place it back on the winder, all of mine get treated the same.

I very rarely take off my Breitling, only for bed and it goes on again first thing in the morning. It occasionally showers with me to keep it clean. I bought it knowing I wouldn't be able to afford another, so I bought a BB which ticks all my boxes:

Looks good with suit
Looks good with t-shirt and jeans
Built strong
Waterproof
Scratches just look the part

I always think that as long as I don't bash it to hell it should look good as new after the service anyway, so I'm careful with it, but I'm not scared to wear it.

Hi, I do not remove my watch right away as i have to come home and check my email before taking shower. I usually remove it before going to shower and if i do not take shower, i wear it even till going to bed sometimes. I do not remove it if i have to go out.

I generally take my Aerospace off when I get home and put on a G-Shock. Don't want to start tinkering with something or fiddling around in the garage or yard and get careless.
