Been stalking the forum for a good while to lap up all of your pearls of wisdom!
So first of all thankyou for that.

Hoping to take the plunge this week and purchase my first Breitling, i was going to purchase a black steel SA about 8 weeks ago on a whim, but figured id better do some research in to it first and im very glad i did.

I'm still tossing up between a black dial avenger skyline, or a black dial airwolf, both with a diver pro strap. Does anyone have any advice? I like both watches equally, and would be wearing them as an everyday watch. The only reservation i have is that the water resistance of the airwolf doesnt seem to be very clear anywhere.

Any help appreciated

cheers

James

Firsly a warm welcome to Breitlingsource.

I don't own either model so will leave the pros and cons to those who do. All I can say is they are both great watches :D WR on the airwolf is 50m.

Good luck with your decision.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

One of the biggest differences between the Skyland and the Airwolf is the movement - mechanical (Skyland) vs. SuperQuartz (Airwolf). Not sure if that makes a difference to you or not.

Thanks Tim! Good to know that

I was aware of the mechanism differences, and that is a niggle of mine. I just dont know if i can justify over 2k on a quartz , even if it is a breitling.
Know what i mean?
But i do LOVE the look of the airwolf !
