Hey guys,
I have the opportunity of picking up either a Panerai Base Logo 000 or an Omega POC black bezel with orange numbers. I've wanted to add both to my collection but I can only chose one.
My current collection consists of Breitlings; Herc, B-2 with UTC, Skyland on OR and a Rose gold Hammy X-Wind.
I don't have a diver in the collection, and always lusted after the POC, but I have also been very intrigued by the Pam...different look, hand wind, and strap fun.

I wanted to hear what you guys would chose.

They are both gently pre-loved.

Thanks guys!

I'm not sure that I am the most objective voice here ( ), but rather unsurprisingly I would go POC

I'd go with the Pam, but I'd rather have the disaply back of the 112 over the 000.

In my humble opinion I would go for the Panerai. :D

I also like the crispness of the sandwich dial compared to the painted dial. I also think if you ever decided to sell it, you'd have an easy time moving the Panerai compared to the POC.

Out of those two, I'd say the Panerai every single time. Nothing wrong with the POC, but it's just... well...... a bit on the ordinary side. And it's a heck of a lot more common than a Panerai. The Panerai is something a bit different in your collection.

(Just my opinion of course!)

Shockingly, it seems to be everyone's opinion except mine - but I think that most of us could have guessed that

Another vote for Panerai here - and as stated above, it's a bit more unique.

I'm not a big Panerai fan but between the two, I'd go for the Pam.

And can someone explain why PANerai watches have PAM as their ref#.

Legmaker, you and I have similar taste as I was in the same situation. I chose the Panerai first and then got the POC. I had to have both in my stable.

Another vote (well the 2nd anyway :D )for the POC. Love the POC, not so keen on the PAM.

I'm really not sure, this would be a tough choice for me. Less tough if it were a different Panerai model though, say a 111. :)

jnelson3097 makes a good point - the Panerai will be easier to sell in future, and will hold its value much better too.
