...well, it's not actually my first Breitling. I own a 1940's Premier that I have never worn (too small at 33mm) and plan to sell soon. So this is my first Breitling I actually plan to wear and keep.
After being inspired by many discussions here, I jumped from the Omega line to Breitling. I had planned on buying an Omega Planet Ocean of some type, but Breitling won out. Earlier this week I picked up my SuperOcean Heritage Chrono Ltd Edition with the Ocean Classic mesh bracelet and a spare Ocean Racer black rubber strap with the deployant clasp that operates more smoothly than any other mechanical device I have ever encountered! I’ve been wearing it all week, it’s awesome!
The AD experience was pretty poor. I’ll give the full story in the Feedback section. I do, however, feel that I got a good deal ($3300 USD for the watch and both straps) so am pretty happy about that.
Here are some pics, I got inspired by some of Mofongo’s Bentley GT pics, so I tried (woefully) to capture similarly cool pics of the SOHCLE. I’ll post most of the pics in Gallery, but here are a few.

yes, I have managed to scratch the clasp in 4 days of wear! I am that talented!

Although the subdials are supposed to be white, they are actually silver - very nice!

Very nice! Great shots.
It looks like a SOH and Chronomatic love child!
Congrats on the new piece!

This looks so much better than the standard SOHC. Really impressed with it, if I had the wrists for it, i'd be giving it more thought! :)

Thanks Legmaker!
Many moons ago, I thought to myself, If I ever get a Breitling, it would be either the SOH or one of the bi-compax Navi's or Chronomatics... Totally agree on the love child!!

Great looking watch. Not a giant fan of the retro bracelet but it looks really nice on this watch. Congrats.

Very nice... I still see you have the 40's Premier for sale... I remember you asked me awhile back to PM you if I was interested...

The problem is I'm always interested  but honestly I don't have the funds for it right now, but if you don't mind I would love a picture of it... just to see what it looks like...

Here you go Sir!
As I have been advised: likely early to mid 40s, non-original crown. Also, the dial has been restored (but is the original dial). Some speculation on whether the hands are original but no definitive answer. I was told they were when this was purchased. Solid rose gold. I love it but it's too small for me at 33mm.

Wow...I don't think my photography has ever been accused of being inspiring. I'm sure it was the subject matter. :P

Congrats on the new watch! I would choose that over a PO any time!
