First, thank you all so much for the detailed information. I have learned that this watch is a Windrider Chronomat ref 13050 - ca. 1994 to 1999. It is a Bi-colour - steel with 18K gold detail. The watch band is made from shark. The second watch is called a UTC module to use for a second time zone.

From my reading, I estimate the value at approximately $2K to $3K if in pristine condition. I would like some comment on that if possible.

This particular watch is missing the 45 rider tab. The UTC does not run, it may just need a battery.

I live in Toronto and would like to know of a reliable place to take the watch to be repaired and made pristine.

Can anyone comment on a ballpark price for the replacement of the rider tab and general cleaning and batteries? I understand that a new strap or bracelet is in the $600 range.

Thank you for any information you may relay.

Take it into any La Swiss and they will get youa quote for service and repair. They are part of the same company that is the authorised service centre for Canada.

I think from memory that the rider tab is around $50 - the 12:00 one is more because of the lume so you dropped lucky!

Just a warning that you may be told that the watch will need a service, and they'll definitely insist on a service for the UTC, not just a new battery.

Your help is very much appreciated. As I said it was inherited so I would like to respect and enjoy the watch.

Thanks again.
