Hi,

Last week I purchased a Breitling Colt Chrono, my first Breitling, after a long time admiring!

Anyway I have notice that the hand indicating the Seconds doesnt totally land on the mark indicated on the dial as it goes round, it is slightly before the mark.

Am I being too picky or is this an issue I should look to have resolved?

Thanks
Stuart

Not quite sure that I understand the question.

Are we talking about the running seconds (subdial) or chrono seconds? And what exactly is it doing that doesn't line up?

Sorry for the confusion.

On the actual main watch face, around the dial there are little lines that indicate each minute. The issue I have is that as the third hand (the one constantly moving round which indicates seconds) moves around the watch it doesnt align with the lines on the dial accurately, it is slightly in front.

Thanks

OK, got it.

The centre mounted seconds hand is actually the chronograph seconds. No problem leaving it running but it will run the battery down faster.

As long as the chrono seconds hand resets to exactly 12:00 then there is no problem.

I think what OP means is that the small seconds hand does not align at its normal 12 o'clock position where it should be, it lands a bit before the mark. Since it's a Quartz movement, it goes step by step.

In my opinion, a watch over 2000$ should be accurante and the small seconds hand should land straight on the bar.

I would check it out with AD.
