Happened to browse by breitling.com today and to my surprise I found new versions of the Montbrillant series, have any of you seen these new versions live? They look quite interesting, but it's very difficult to tell from the pictures, the distinct and oh-so-beautiful "Navitimer white/silver" is very hard to photograph :P

We need more pictures!

I guess not. I certainly haven't but to be honest I think it looks pretty nasty actually. The old single colour dial was much better in my opinion. This two tone dial business just makes an already very busy watch even busier IMHO.

The Montbrillant / Montbrillant Datora aren't big sellers so you don't tend to see so many in ADs. I'm with Driver8 - after seeing the pictures at the Basel announcement I haven't really sought them out as they don't do anything for me.

I had just the opposite opinion on that. I've always thought the uni-color on the Datora made the busyness of the dial all the more difficult to read. I find the multi-color contrast gives some clarity to it. I kinda like it. :) Just my opinion guys. (Someone has to disagree here and get the party started :nana: )

The "bullseye" look doesn't do anything for me.

Only reminds me that my wife will inevitably want me to drive her to Target on Saturday morning....

To me it would be very nice if the date scale is black.

True, it looks a bit busy (and bullseye-ish) at first look, but since I absolutely love the Datora concept it has grown on me... really want see in real life though.

Guys: I'm new to this site and would like somemore feedback reguarding the datora as I am in the process of buying one very soon. Where would I get the best price? and if there not big sellers can I negotiate a bit more on the price?? I myself like the new look and would purchase one if I could find it somewhere.

Whereabouts are you - the answers will depend greatly on what part of the world you are in.
