Hello all, I've been lurking here for a while and I currently own a B-1 with a custom "A-10 Warthog" face.

I'm looking for a quick opinion. I'm in Tel Aviv for another day and I've found a steel Navitimer World from a AR for $5900. Is this a good price compared to the states? It's the last thing I need, but I may pick one up if I can get a good deal on it.

I could be wrong, but I would think that you could do better here. Most people shoot for 25% off retail (at least). Not sure what the current retail is in the US, but in Feb when I got mine retail was $6800, but there was talk early summer of a 10% increase. Even with price increase, you could do better here.

The price grid on this site - http://www.breitlingsource.com/pricelis ... rdering=id

shows a list price of $5,400 for the head. Even with the most expensive option (bracelet) $5,900 isn't good.

Send jnelson3097 a PM and he'll hook you up with George who can help you out with a US buy.

Thanks for the info! I hadn't found that price guide yet, so I'll wait before making a purchase. So most people look for 25% off what's listed on the price guide?

Most people look for the best they can get - get hold of George and you'll get a percentage.

Don't go for anything lower than 30%. There are plenty of places that will hook you up.

World does not have instant date change.
