I guess I don't mind LING but when someone comments on my timepiece i don't tell them it's a LING. I tell them it's a :lingsrock: If more people were familiar with Breitling then it would be a little different story! People are more familiar with beemers and caddy's etc.

Personally I never refer to Breitlings as "Lings" because I just don't like the word for some reason. In fact this is the only place I'd ever heard it used. And while I personally never use the word myself, it doesn't bug me when others use it.

I steal time from work to be a part of this....and I wear it with pride !

I could only ever refer to it as :lingsrock: (ling just sounds cheap, no offense !)

I'm not a big fan of "Ling". If anything, I like "Breit" better. But, I think I can continue to handle using the two syllable name........for now.
Too bad Ling has already been taken, because yes, that would have been a nice nickname for all the Chinese counterfeits.
Is there a consensus on a nickname for Breitling counterfeits, yet? If not, now's our chance.

Yes real :guns: b...dog poop...! Sorry I hate counterfeit watches. Two guys that are trainers at my gym wear :guns: B...dog poop. I have talked with them and neither will confess that they are junk. One is so bad the crystal seems about 10mm in depth, its a real joke and when I told him that navitimers don't have quartz engines he looked at me like I had three heads. I like both the guys and don't want to rip into them real bad but they flash them around like they one the lotto. One of them was at the front counter the other day when I checked it and he was looking at my emergency and asked are they new....I never heard of the emergency...........what a idiot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I had to vent, I'm ok now. :lingsrock:

Yes I did.

I removed the post personally attacking you and the one where you attacked back.

I could have edited the other post to change it to sh--, but bluntly I didn't think that would escalate into a series of personal attacks.

That's my judgment, you are welcome to disagree.
