For me this year mainly electronic goodies....a new underwater camera, photo scanner to put ALL of our photos to dvd, a dvd/photo dvd copier, other things along this line.....and maybe a grail that I'm working on that my wife wants to me to get but I have not sealed the deal yet with the collector who owns it....If I get it it will be for a very fair price so I'm keeping my fingers crossed X. I hope the deal is done by next weekend. :lingsrock: :lingsrock:

This Glashutte Senator Meissen "unlimited" edition. Each one is numbered apparently, and the number that you get is according to when you order it. It is made at, or near, Dresden, Germany. The dial is Dresden Porcelain, and there is one guy who hand decorates all of the dials. Of course, I would have to pick out a gorgeous but simple gold ring to go with it, as I have no gold rings and would only wear gold with that watch. Actually, the watch is so special, that I would probably wear no other jewellery with it!

Often what we want, and what we get, are two very different things :|

Cheers,
Carl

I can't fault your taste Carl, but I did wonder until I read the last sentence whether you realised the cost of entry

I really have no way to price it, here in Canada. I have seen them on US websites, between 15-20 grand. The only AD here in Vancouver is Palladio, and I just don't feel comfortable dealing with them. If I ever got the least bit serious about getting one, you would probably be the one person who I would get in touch with for advice. Perhaps, if I were to sell my entire collection of Omegas and Rolexes....
Cheers,
Carl

I don't know the AD that well, but I would expect a price in the $22k range.
