Just wondering if someone could tell me what a good price would be for a new (from AD) SOSF with a professional bracelet in Canada?

Don't have an up to date list, but it's broadly the same numerical value as US (though obviously in CAD).

There are a number of Vancouver members who can give you local AD recommendations, and I can help you out with an Ontario AD to save PST if you are comfortable buying from a distance.

Thanks, unfortunatley I am already committed to an AD, I bought a new starliner for my wife last week and I have been pretty good so far on picking out gifts that reflect my wife's taste but unfortunatley this time not only swung and missed but ended up fouling it off my foot.........

The AD has agreed to exhange the starliner for me, my wife wants more of a fashion watch than an "serious" watch so I would imagine I am going to have a heap of $$$ left to spend as the one I probably end up getting for her is not going to come near the cost of the Breitling.

Just trying to figure my options out before I head back to the AD tomorrow, I don't really feel like kicking in whole lot more $$ so was trying to get a handle on the cost of a SOSF to see if I could swing a bit of a 2 for 1........depending on if they have anything for her.

I am not sure the exact amount. But I do remember a Superocean with PRO II is $2845. as I was looking at one last week.
It seems to me that the Steelfish is only a couple of hundred dollars more, this is going by last year's prices. I don't know why the small increase, though, but I was always surprised at the small amount of difference. I think there are still only 2 Breitiling dealers in Vancouver now: Time & Gold on Georgia Street, and La Swiss in the Pacific Centre Mall. I would recommend Time & Gold anytime over La Swiss. However, if as Roffensian says, you want to save the tax, I would also recommend going through him
Time & Gold would likely give a 20% discount from my experience, but probably no more unless it's a less popular item. I am in that shop quite often, and the Breitlings esp. Aeromarines such as Seawolf, Superocean and Steelfish move pretty quickly. As one of the guys in there says, they really are good bang for the buck.
I know that the US MSRP on a Steelfish is $2945. It seems that because the Canadian dollar is climbing again, that as Roff says, the dollar amounts are about on a par.

Thanks Carl, 20% is about right, I got a shade more than that off the starliner, I would have went to Time & Gold had I known about them before I bought from LaSwiss, would rather help a smaller independent dealer out with my $$$ than a larger chain store..... anyways, too late now, I guees we'll have to see what they can do for me tomorrow, but with the prices you quoted I may just be able to pull something off that doesn't cost we a whole lot more.
