Well I arrive in Las Vegas tomorrow night. My SA is there waiting for me, cant wait to see what this thing looks like in person. This is my first B-ling , I purchased from George at Govberg Jewelers, easy transaction, good price.

I hope I can pull this thing off with my small 7" wrist.

Time will tell.

I had a 6.75 shipped to Vegas from him in Sept when I was over the pond on holiday. He was a pleasure to deal with.

A black or blue dial Super Avenger is on my WANTED list. However I feel the pull of a navitimer type watch next, probably a Cosmonaute for the peculiar 24hr dial. Will have to give George a look up again soon!!!!

Congrats on your pick up, you will love the watch. Check out my pic in the Gallery, in the Wrist Shots thread... I wear a SA on a 6.5" wrist, you should have no problem pulling it off.

Congrats! I absolutely LOVE my SA. It certainly gets noticed. You'll discover that this will be the longest day ever!!

As to the size, I thought that it looked too big on my wrist for the first couple of days, but trust me, it grows on you. Eventually, your friends stop calling it "Big Ben," but the compliments continue to roll in long afterwords. It's a very striking watch!

Aaron

Congratulations, a trip to Vegas and a new watch, too! Lots of shopping there, too. Make sure you bring your credit card! :D I am one of the few guys who loves to shop - at least, who admits that he likes to shop - and Vegas is the place to do it!
Enjoy your trip and new watch, and may the new watch bring you luck in the casino!
Cheers,
Carl

Exciting stuff indeed :bounce:
I should have had more of a longer look at the SA as my AS appears to get smaller and smaller by the day!

Enjoy

Thanks guys, I have a feeling this will be a watch that gets noticed. I wear a Rolex and a Pam on a daily bases they go unnoticed all the time. Will be interesting to see what the SA does.

Ross, I'll have to check out your pics, thanks.

Carl......... a man who admits he likes to shop, I thought I was the only one. We do Vegas a least once a year, shopping is always on the list. I have to almost drag my wife to the mall.

Nelson, thanks for the lead.

Does anyone have issues getting the SA to fit under a shirt cuff? Im afraid it may look to big when worn with a short sleeve shirt??

Why do you want to have it UNDER your cuff? Wear a shorter sleeve length and wear it loud and proud on display!

Don't forget to post some piccies when you get home.

I don't think its too big at all... I wear a 6.75 and I think thats the same size as the SA and it looks just great. It makes my old Wings look like an infant's watch though!

Congrats - I remember when I got my chrono SA - I have tiny 5.75" wrists (essentially doll wrists on a 28yr old 5' 8' guy) but it looks so crazy awesome - mine has the black face with but I wanted real numbers not Roman Numerals haha. I took my Super Ocean off and it just felt great. Wear a short sleeve shirt and rock it!

Cheers,
-Dan
