It seems to me that everyone on this site has achieved in life a lot more then me. I got locked up was court ordered to to the Marines Corps for 6 months by the judge as part of the plea agreement, after my time i could of stayed and sign a contract but didn't cause of my parents cries (it was on 10/29/2001 rite after 9/11) so i guess I'm thankful, 2 people i was there with were killed and one more has lost a leg. I went to school for auto technician passed my master A.S.E certification, worked at VW, Audi, dealer in brooklyn NY and now work for NYC Transit authority inspecting, trouble shooting, repairing subway cars and i practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the side maybe i can be the next U.F.C champion. lol

Sorry for boring you with my life story and bad grammar, with all the stupid stuff i did in my life time i was still able to get me a Navi World and now looking to buy my next one for diving purposes. :lingsrock:

Don't put yourself down vadim!

You learned from a mistake and moved forward, and that's something to be proud of.

We all have different jobs and some combination of arbitrary factors determines that one job is 'worth' more than another. But no amount of money can buy health, happiness or a good outlook on life. If you have that then that's worth a fortune!

We know you have taste, because you have a Breitling :lingsrock:

Thanks Roff but i still feel out of this league. All you guys are accomplished in life and it's a lot of fun to read all your input, your experiences and most of all your advise, about watches and life. So i feel blessed not cause i own a watch but because i found this site by doing research before i spend four thousand plus on a bracelet that tells time and its not even gold. :lingsrock:

I agree with Roff 100%, we have all made our mistakes and most of us learn from those mistakes. I do not know if it is just me BUT you have a good sense of humor, that is an important part of everyday life :)

Funny thing is everyone I know goes crazy when they come by the place. I guess from an outside view it looks like a bunch of grown up kids tearing things apart... Ok that part is still fun :D

I don't think i'm crazy, others think so. I think that i paid a lot of money for a watch and there is no point to it if i leave it at home !! 8)

My day job is as a Cable TV line technician (been doing this for 15 years). In my "off time", I am a Bail Bondsman and I also own and manage several residential rental properties. Somewhere in the middle, I went back to college (at age 40) and am on track to get my Bachelors degree in Organizational Management either this December or early spring.

The cost of living here in doo dah is relitively low and we live very comfortably, but I want to stop working quite as hard and start working smarter. So began the long process of degree completion. I am very preoccupied with making money and planning on an early retirement. I am concidering a few start up businesses after I finally graduate.

Has the UK changed since I left - do they now throw fruit who want to better themselves?

Sometimes I wish they would, it would help save on my shopping bill! :D

I've been around for a little while now- I've said this before but I'll say it again- this is the most friendly forum I've ever been a part of. No one's concerned whether you're a doctor, a business tycoon, a toilet cleaner or a student; it's just a group of people united by a mutual enthusiasm. I think it's a wonderful thing full of friendly and interesting people.

Gosh, I hope some of you don't mind if I need to tap your various areas of expertise for an article one day!
