As far as I am concerned, that IS the correct side of my wrist, that's the only way that I've ever worn my watches. Your question is, however, valid as the watch looks the same on the top of my wrist, but doesn't feel or fit quite right. Where the watch lays flat on the bottom of my wrist, it interferes with my wrist bones when worn on the top. It could be that I'm just not used to wearing a watch on that side of my wrist, or it could be a real problem - I guess you're going to have to try one on in person before you decide.

That actually doesn't look bad at all, on your wrist. Except from the side. It looks HUGE! haha, but I'd guess that'd be the same for everyone

Nice shots! I figured that my WRIST size is definitely fine, a good 6.5 maybe a bit more. But my FOREARM, gets slightly thinner past the wrist and then gets thicker afterwards (makes me look anorexic... but I can't get them any thicker, all my food goes to my legs!) And since the watch would be covering my wrist, if I got a 43mm or bigger watch, it'd make me look super anorexic... If I wore my watch on my right arm, though, it'd be alright though, cause my right forearm is much thicker cause I play cello. haha

While wrist size does come into it - I strongly believe it has so much more to do with how you carry yourself and your overall appearance.

Surely it's more to do with wrist "width", ie: the side the watch sits on, than the whole circumference?

That's true, but I think I'm fine there, my wrist "width" is like 2.25 inches, maybe even 2.5.

It sounds like you will have no problem with whatever you go for then.

You shouldn't feel embarrassed going into an AD and testing which watch would be most suitable for you. Perhaps make it clear from the start that you are not going to be buying one today, but hoping to in the near future.

I have a 7.5'' wrist and just under 2.5'' width.
