That's a clean NSX~ I used to be a import head myself... how much horsepower are you making on the dyno? And what kind of turbos are you running?

Thanks for the kind words! I'm currently using a single GT-40 and I'm making around 560-600 whp at about 580 ft-lbs. of torque at 13-14 lbs. of boost depending on the dyno and weather conditions. It usually runs in the low 11's at the 1/4 mile. What kind of import were you running?

Well... didn't really have a true one to mess around with, because my dad is a mechanic and he would get pissed at me messing around with our Hondas and Nissans... I had a 97 Honda Accord but it was more show than go... I remember I wanted an H22 transplant sooooooo bad but back then it cost an arm and a leg... but I had a lot of friends with Civics with B18s, a few s13s, Preludes...

Wow, running in the low 11s is very very impressive... I remember when I was in college for a Honda or Acura to be running 10s it had to be gutted inside and out... and the motor tricked beyond recognition... the technology for aftermarkets parts have significantly gotten better and a bit cheaper...

Has your car been featured in any of the car magazines? it looks very worthy of one~

Then my wife had a disagreement with a tipper truck that decided he wanted to save the wear and tear on his brake pads on the motorway and use our merc as a brake instead!!!! ...........

Thanks for the kind words.. she is OK(ish) - had to be cut out of the car and is now recovering from severe whiplash. Merc's final act was in keeping her safe.

She has been banging on for ages about getting a convertible.... be careful what you wish for!!!

You will also be pleased to know that no Breitlings were present in the car at the time of the accident!!!

That was really what I wanted to know, but thought it was a little tasteless not to ask about the wife

Seriously, I hope she recovers soon. From experience it's not just the physical injuries, it's the shock. I'm sure that a nice new watch would help her recovery!

Can you clarify your post for me please - did you mean a new watch for HER or for ME?

Well I meant for her, but if you can convince her that w watch for you will help her recovery then you should definitely make the sacrifice.

You would also have my undying respect

Wow, that's incredible. Glad all is well!

I'm waiting 'til the missus agrees for me to buy a new M3, but at the mo I'm stuck with a company Astra :(

Thanks again. I'm trying, but most print magazines are going the way of the dinos.

Well gee you guys are a bunch of motor heads! LOL. There seems to be a link between appreciating mechanical watches and mechanical people movers.

In Canada, we need snow performance. I've always driven a Nissan Pathfinder of many vintages. Then added a '99 323i and regretted that decision immensely. Worst reliability I've ever experienced. Now, I nervously returned to my German roots with the Touareg V8, and haven't stopped smiling since. Sports car speed and unstoppable in the winter. Flawless interior, and comfortable. Drove the cayenne too, but chose the VW. Cayenne was too harsh and a cousin of mine was recently jacked in a mall parking lot for her cayenne. They found it in a container in Halifax destined for Africa.

My modest ride... (interior photo is not mine, but the same)

Weekend ride... custom built by me... this is where I satify my "custom ride" impulses, much cheaper :) More money for watches LOL.

That bike is one sexy piece of techo-porn.

I myself drive a 2001 Vauxhall Astra. 1.6 8v Club Edition, baby! With some hot 15" rims.

VROOM VROOM!

Still, not many people can say their watch is worth twice as much as their car...
