I am looking at purchasing a 1999 Aerospace Titanium two tone. Is this a good one in the Breitling family? Does this model have any reoccuring issues? It is a pre SQ model. The person selling it has accepted a $750 offer from me. Just looking for any info. on this model. I am not very familiar with them. Thanks

I have one that's similar, first one I ever got. The only problem with it is that you will just want to buy more and more.....

The SQ thing is mostly marketing crap. Yes, the SQ is more accurate but you really can't tell anyway. The 1999 model should be good for about 20 seconds or so in a year, maybe better. To put it into perspective in the life time of the battery, about 3 years or so, it should be off less than one minute.

Crown can be fiddly at first to change the functions but once you get the hang of it, it's a great everyday watch.

$750 seems like a good price but.....has it ever been serviced? Is it due for one?

TT models are more expensive to service than the regular SS ones...
maybe ~500 for a complete job....
