Hi All, I stumbled accross this site looking for an answer to the problem with my bezel. Great site :lingsrock:
I have checked the archives and think I've found the answer but the guy I took the watch to is saying something different.

The bezel should be uni directional but has become very loose and is now bi directional. The archives suggest this is due to a problem spring under the bezel. The watch repairer is saying I need a part from Breitling but that he can't order it, I need to order it myself, although he's a little vague about just what needs to be ordered. He says the ratchet part (separate to the bezel) needs replacing.

Any thoughts?

Spring is most likely, the ratchet teeth are part of the case if I remember correctly (though it's been a while since I had a bezel off).

Dumb question maybe, but is the watch repairer an Authorised Breitling Dealer?

As Bling Bang is saying, your guy is not an authorized dealer.
Be really carefull with handymans, they going to cause you more
problem than to solve them, especially if he's telling that it's not
the Bezel click.

99% of the watches that I repaired and had that type of problem was
the bezel click if there is no " Air-shock" on the watch.

Go on the Breitling website and search the nearest authorized after sale
service in your area, Because you're not going to be able to order by your
self..:)

Hope you find the solution,

K.
