Hello i finally got my breitling back from a dial change, and created this thread to share whit you guys the real cost envolved in this operation

so a dial change and hands not receiving the old ones back
dial 50euros+taxes 20%=60euros or ~88usd
hands 62.50euros + 20% = 75euros or ~110usd

the change of the hands are necessary when changing dial
so 135euros or 200usd for the dial and hands
the receipt

the breitling assistance told me that the watch was in pristine condition and for that there was no need for a full service so a basic quartz service was enough
+50euros or ~73usd received the watch like new not a single scratch in it
warranty 1 year :)

i also payed more 7.60€ for shipping and insurance
and done whit the dial change, i requested the dial in mid august and the dial was received 45 days later, then i went to my AD and gave the watch waited around 2/half weeks and all done!

also i asked a COSC replacement cost me 30euros or ~44usd
got here in a flash

hope this information can help out the interested :)
regards to all breitling fans :lingsrock:

Ive asked BUSA on price quotes for changing my SA from a blue dial to a white dial. They estimated the total cost would be around $1300 as they would have to do a full service and the dial itself is around $600... I guess price varies greatly by what model you want to get the dial changed on

There have been a couple of members who have been quoted more reasonable costs lately, both dial cost and lack of a full service, but it seems to be discontinued models so far.

Hopefully a sign of things to come though!

That is interesting, i might enquire how much a dial change would be for my original Balackbird as it is in for an overhaul and the lume has all but gone on the dial.

has anyone ever had a dial change on an analog UTC module?
I have a white dial 24Hr. 20mm module for my chronomat that I would like changed to black.
I was looking to sell or trade it but if the cost were not too high I would have BUSA do the dial switch.

Shouldn't need a dial change - they can just relume with SuperLuminova.

Don't know of anyone doing it, but can't hurt to ask them.

Wow, this is definitely great news after the ridiculous price I was quoted for a TT Legende dial change a year or back. Excellent stuff.

Do they check the lume as part of an overhaul or will I need to contact them regarding it?

I imagine they check and will then add it to the quote if they think it needs doing, but I would suggest that you specifically ask them to relume in addition to the service.
