Hello, I'am new to the forums and I'am about to purchase my first Breitling. But, I can't pick one, I find my self looking through the chronolog, flipping from the chronomat to the super avenger and chrono superocean. I also like the navitimer, but I want something a little more water resistant, so that is out. What one should it choose.

Welcome to the forum! I'd really recommend going to an AD and trying them all on, because all three of the models you mention are quite different in size in the way they look on your wrist, even though they appear somewhat similar. You'll probably have a better idea of which one you like when you try it on.. unless of course you have tried them all on. In which case I would say pick between the Chronomat or the Super Avenger

Must you have chrono functions? If not, look at S O heritage and windrider cockpit series big date Both good pieces!

RJ Biodrowski,

The Super Avenger is the best one to start with.

Yes, go for the SA! Unless, you have already tried it and the case is larger than your wrist... Then a SA wouldn't look so good...

Its a dilemma sure enough, but its all part of the journey into Breitling ownership. Enjoy the experience, and dont get too hung up about one single watch, as you will most likely buy your second favorite as well one day.

Can sympathise, was in very similar position when I bought mine, as already mentioned firstly decide do I need/want a Chrono. I didnt and opted for the Cockpit black face two tone steel/gold, and have no regrets whatsoever, ultimately its down to personal choice good luck.
