The source for my extensive research has been duly yelled at

I can answer the Ocean Racer / Aero Racer question though.......

Aero Racer is the new bracelet for the 125th anniversary piece.

Yeah, I know.. but what's the difference between that strap and the Ocean Racer strap?

It's steel - not rubber.

Ocean Classic was developed for SOH and SOHC (inspired with 1950s SO version bracelet) and it's made in 20 and 24 mm.
Aero Classic was designed for CM49 and it's made in 24 mm only.
The only difference is that AC mash is thicker than OC.

I got a chance to handle both the mesh bracelets... and indeed the Aero Classic is a thicker mesh bracelet with wider mesh-links. Its noticeaby thicker.

Odd that the Aero is thicker. I'd have thought that the diver's version would be thicker due to possibly harder usage.
