I have seen warnings here not to move the watch hands backwards under certain conditions while setting the date. My manual doesn't mention anything about this--does that issue apply to non-Quartz movements only?? My model # is A73380. Thanks!

It's not exclusively mechanical as some quartz powered watches still have lengthy date change processes, but if the manual doesn't mention it (it would be in the section about the quickset date) then you should be OK. I'm not familiar enough with this movement to know for sure.

The manual issue no warnings on this--so I guess it's OK! The movement in the watch is the Breitling 73 movement.

There's no warning in the Handbook also.

Definitive proof that there's no issue then.
