Anyone know of any watch apps for the iPod touch. I Have tried to get the Breitling app but its only for the iPhone :( Just wondering if anyone has come across one that works with the touch?

I have a 2nd generation touch (with updated software) and the Breitling Chronomat B01 app works for me - I downloaded it about a month ago. It's fun that you can "build your own" Chronomat, but it doesn't have a screensaver, downloadable content, etc.

I also downloaded the Piaget app and it does have a screensaver which has a screensaver that tells the time that's on your iTouch - you can pick which watch you'd like to use as your screensaver.

I don't know if there are other watch apps or not - I tried searching them, but there are SO MANY apps now, that even when you type in watch brand names, you may get a clusterf-ck of responses (sorry if that's bad to say here).

For what it's worth, Panerai has a very cool screensaver for macs or PCs 8)

BTW, there are definitely other applications for the iTouch, but again, it's difficult to google them or find them in the apps store on iTunes.

Glycine has an app - Sarpaneva has an app - Victorniox has an app - Bell & Ross has an app - I think the best thing to do is input the brand name of the watch you're interested in into the search function on iTunes - otherwise, "watch" or "wristwatch" or "timepiece" or "time" is too generic of a term and either nothing comes up or 100 results come up and most of them mean nothing...

If you're just interested in a wallpaper, there are some to be found by googling "*brand name* iPhone wallpaper."

Otherwise, send me a PM and I am pretty good with photoshop and can probably create an iTouch wallpaper for you - I created my signature below and am happy to play around with ideas with you :)

Thanks Drty

I am going to download the update to my ipod. My only problem is that my computer is a slug and takes forever to download anything. When I have a bit of time I will sit down and update it so I can get the B01 app!!

Downloading the software update for the iTouch doesn't necessarily take a long time, but the installation and processing takes a bit of time. I also believe they dropped the update cost to $4.99 USD (vs $9.99) which I paid.

There are a couple of cool new features and really, $4.99 isn't a big deal to get a bunch of enhancements and the ability to interact with new apps.

That Emerald app is pretty cool because the app functions just like the watch with moon phases, etc. But it costs $4.99 (not a big deal in the overall scheme of things, but IMO, a lot of $$$ to pay to download an app that's just a promotion for the watchmaker).

I'm currently using the Bell&Ross screensaver and wallpaper (and it was free). The B01 app is cool because you can see some videos, read a little history, and "build your own" B01; however, there aren't any downloadable screensavers or wallpapers. If they update it, that would be great, but in its current state, it's just a download, play with it for 10 minutes, and then never use it again app.
