Hi ther,

So, thanks to the guys, I have a new Superocean on a proII.

Ive had it a couple of days or so, and must admit, I didnt wind it 40 or so turns before I put it on. Since then Ive worn it 90% of the time, including in bed. This afternoon, for the second time, Ive noticed it had stopped. Apart from winding it a 'little' when I got it and on Sunday, thats all the winding it had received.

I am a 'tiny' bit concerned it may be faulty. Not overly so as I wound it 40 times and its now continuing to tick away nicely. I shall monitor it over the next couple of days.

Does it need a damn wind - on top of the wrist movement now and again? How often should it be manually wound?

I hope its ok...and sorry if this confuses you guys.

Cheers

Rich

It should last 40 hrs., lying on the table after being fully wound.
If it stops after you wearing it every day regularly, you are not giving it enough motion (assuming that it lasted for 40 hrs. on the table).
