Dumb question from a newbie who just purchased a used Colt Automatic. I see some people referring to their Colts as Colt IIs. What's the difference between a Colt and a Colt II?

The Colt (auto) was the older version of the Colt II. The Colt II Auto is the current 41mm production model.
