I'm moving along one of my watches and the buyer wants to pay with a money order or cashiers check.
Just wondering how safe this is and if there are any concerns with it?
Thanks guys, I appreciate your words of wisdom.

I've used them before and not had any problems. They should be guaranteed funds, but before you ship you should validate that the security measures on them are all accurate - in the case of cashiers checks (at least through my bank) it tells you what they are on the cheque.

I would also then try and call the issuing bank to confirm that the serial number is valid and hasn't been reported stolen.

a cashiers check should be 100% safe. It is actually just like cash itself. To get one the person had to pay the bank that amount of money that the check is worth. Example...I walk into the bank and want a cashiers check for 100,000. They have to have an account of mine checking/savings with at least 100,000 in the account that they can withdraw from me then give me the check for 100,000. So I then ship the check to someone its treated just like cash. My money has already been removed from my account and its "contained" in the cashiers check I mailed. MAKE SENSE?
