Huh... I purposefully left the watch on the winder for about 3 weeks, expecting that it might stop after a few days like we thought it might. But it's still running strong, and right on time. (relatively--I might need to have the time fine-tuned to remain within COSC standards) The winder is indeed rotating both clockwise and counterclockwise, but it's keeping it wound just fine.
