Bracelet needed is 18/16.
It's not possible to add 20mm bracelet.

Let me add to the confusion.

Fbaur, in my opinion you have 4 choices, if you want to put a strap or bracelet on this watch:

1. That watch probably takes a Fighter I (*EDIT: Pro I) bracelet (straight links) in 18mm lug width. A Fighter in 18mm (slash-cut links) may fit, but I'm not sure about that.
*EDIT: No it doesn't, I just saw the pic by happy_chapie, and realized that my Colt actually had a totally different case. See pic.

(I used to have a ref. A57035 Colt that had a Fighter I bracelet.)

2. You can get a Diver Pro rubber strap (size: 18/17).

3. Or go with a Breitling leather strap (size: 18/16)

4. As an alternative, you can try a strap of any make, as long as it has 18mm width at the lugs. Some makers produce straps that aren't narrower on either side, I kind of preferred that, so I had that Colt on a 18/18 Hirsch carbon strap most of the time.

35 models use ProI.
50 models use Fighter.

This is the bracelet that I had on that ref. A57035 Colt.
It had straight links, and pins instead of screws. Isn't this a Fighter I?

Wow. That's new. :)
All this time I thought that it was a Fighter.

So was there ever a Fighter bracelet that had straight links then?

It says here, that there wasn't?

Because there's no friggin' way one can tell the difference based on the clasps here  :

There's only one Fighter bracelet and it doesn't have straight cut links.
Safety clasps are different on the ProI and Fighter.

Thanks everyone for the quick and helpful information! But isn't it possible to add a SS bracelet to it? And what about happy_chapies 20mm bracelet? I still don't get if it's really 20(18)/18mm or 18/18mm...

Edit: OK I got it. (Question number 1001: How come the Colt on the pic has 20mm bracelet?)

It's the older type of ProI with a different end links and you need exactly that one to fit.
Newer ones don't have that anomaly. :)

So the only original Breitling SSbracelet would be an older ProI to fit? What about any non-brand bracelets or newer 18mm bracelets?

Thanks alot now it's all clear!

You need exact that one to fit.
You can put anything on if the end links will fit, which I doubt but it can happen.
