Several monthes ago I asked this forum if possible I could change s/s navi to a two tone. When I found out that I couldn't, I went to the ad (mine was La Swiss) and told me that I could. So when they asked their main office to get the parts they told the ad it was not possible. As a last resort I asked to exchange my s/s for a two tone and I'll pay the difference. To my surprise they would do that (I got mine in Feb hence the reason why its unusal to do exchanges). Even better was that since I asked for a TT bracelet, the deal would be that I would pay for the bracelet they would exchange the watches for free. So long story short I got what I wanted. All I have to do now is wait for watch to come in. Hee hee I'm so happy :lingsrock:

So long story short, I changed my mind a the last minute about gettin a TT Navi and decided to get a Bentley 6.75. I managed to do this before the 15 day exchange expired. Though I had to pay the difference in cash, in the end I was a happy camper with a big shiny watch  Forgive me for the pics I need to update my camera

Congrats on a great watch! The Bentley is a real eye catcher.

I take it you don't make your living as a photographer?? LOL! Great shots of the dragons and curtains. :nana:

 I was thinking that too!

Sorry lobo_oscuro, but when my own photographic skills are as bad as they are (and they ARE very bad, incidentally!) I always take a certain comfort when someone elses are also "not quite to Ron's" standard!

Great watch incidentally. I have the same one but with the silver dial.

In case it wasn't obvious, I was just teasing... all in good fun.

I use several, but the one that works the best for macro, great light gathering, and easy to use is the Sony T-100, pocket sized point and shoot. It does better macro than my pro-level studio camera.

Some samples... maybe a few too many :)

The 6.75 is a real beauty so I can fully understand why you fell for it. Congratulations!

Regarding the camera, you don't need to buy any extravagant stuff - I would start by playing a bit with the one you have, trying to get the focus where you want it. Regarding the details in your pics, I'd say it's good enough. You just have to get the right object into focus... :)

I'm using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18, somewhere in between the pocket camera and a real camera. I like it's features with 18x zoom (and if you go down in pixels you might end up in 28.7x zoom) but also it takes really good macro shots. Sure, slightly bulkier than a pocket camera but still light and rather small.
