Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a Breitling tang buckle to a non-Breitling strap eg a Bob or similar? Can the tang part of a strap be removed and placed on a new strap?

Yes you can. The buckle is fixed to the strap with a kind of spring bar, so it can be removed with the same tool that you use to remove a strap from the watch.
