Hello All,

I am MSG Andrew West, USA...and the proud owner of a new (to me) Blackbird. I bought it from a seller here on the forum, and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

This bird has flown from NateS in England to the US, where a buddy then shipped it to me in Afghanistan where I am currently deployed with the army. This bird has flown about as many miles as I have.

I have to admit I can't wait to show it off, as it remains covered, and well protected by my ACU uniform. Can't wait to put on some civies to wear it properly.

Maybe I can meet some of you fellow owners stateside when I return from tour. Until then, I'll drive on and hopefully make this small part of the world a safer place for all of the future Breitling owners here and elsewhere.

BTW, Thanks again, Nate. ...and sorry for not posting a picture, but it's rather a chore from here. Will do as I get a chance.

Congratulations on the watch - it is great, and stay safe over there. Being from Canada I am well aware of how dangerous Afghanistan is right now.

Wow, Andrew, I just returned from my deployment as well. But in my case, I ordered the watches while I was there for delivery when I got back. I plan on doing combat flying with my Airwolf on, but I wouldn't even think of bringing my Chronomat into combat.

I love the Blackbird, definitely want to see pics when you can! Stay safe, brother, and I'll bring you home soon.
