I got this watch a few weeks ago (new from AD) and have some questions:

1) What are each of the 3 small dials for? The 6 o'clock is for seconds? the 2 o'clock is for 10ths of a second? what is the 10 o'clock for?

2) How do I get it into regatta mode (where it counts down 10 minutes)?

3) The push-piece at 2 o'clock sometimes does not activate the stop-watch. I can push it until it clicks, but nothing happens (I have to depress it with great intention for it to turn on). I am afraid the push-piece is defective in that it can be pushed (and click) but not start the stop watch unless it is -really- depressed (it takes much more effort on the 2 o'clock push-piece vs the 4 o'clock push piece).

4) When setting the date/time is it best to only wind the watch forward, or can it be wound both forwards and backwards when in position 2 and 3?

Thanks for the help! Really loving this watch.

Congrats on the new watch!

I can't answer all your questions without the manual in front of me but I can tell you that the subdial at 10 o'clock counts hours for the stopwatch.

It does sounds like there is an issue with the 2 o'clock pushpiece. Mine activates the stopwatch feature with a very easy press.

[quote="rjp123"]I got this watch a few weeks ago (new from AD) and have some questions:

1) What are each of the 3 small dials for? The 6 o'clock is for seconds? the 2 o'clock is for 10ths of a second? what is the 10 o'clock for?

That dial is for hours elapsed

2) How do I get it into regatta mode (where it counts down 10 minutes)?

Pull out crown to first (or 2nd) position, and keep pressing either button A or B to advance the minute hand around the dial.

It sounds like it is defective, which is new to me

4) When setting the date/time is it best to only wind the watch forward, or can it be wound both forwards and backwards when in position 2 and 3?

As far as I know, you can only advance the date using the hour hand.
