I felt in loved with this "SuperOcean Heritage 46". Can someone comment on this timepiece to convinced me to buy it !! Perhaps some pros and cons would be helpful.

If you use the forum search function I think you'll find quite a few comments about this watch.

You could always pull the buy now ask questions later routine, that's how I got hooked on these watches.

I love my SOH 46. Especially in the bronze color. It was actually a gift, so at first site I thought (to myself) that I would have liked black better, but now I am soooo glad I have bronze. The color grew on me, and it matches every color of clothing, and blends nice with skin tone, etc. ,etc.
The main issue I have had, is with the clasp on the rupper (Ocean Racer) strap. I just had my watch sent back to Breitling, because the folding portion of the clasp is able to push the PUSH button while you're wearing it, and it loosens a little by skipping a few teeth of the ratchet mechanism. You could do a search on the Ocean Racer strap.

I wear my black and the blue on a regular basis. Great watches good size.

I think it is the big issue with the strap. I was in the shop and asked for testing it. It was all ok, then I walk to catch others timepieces. As I walk back to Breitling, the watch gone missing, I though someone has bought it. Then I asked the salesperson, he said that the strap has loosen and need some repair. I was like Wow ! lucky me.

Well, we'll see how Breitling handles my return.
Being a mechanical engineer, I can't help but wonder how they're going to address the issue. It seems (at least for my case) that there would have to be some significant physical changes to the clasp, in order to prevent the PUSH button from being inadvertently depressed. And I would be surprised if there exists enough manufacturing variation to only affect some clasps; yet there are others who claim the issue doesn't exist on their strap.
We'll just have to wait......

I've had my SOH46 for a while now and really like it. I haven't had an issue with the strap, but plenty of issues with the crown stem, and winding. Breitling replaced the watch with only a two week turn around. Prior to buying the SOH I did'nt really have a thing for Breitling, I always found them too flashy. When I first saw a pic of the SOH I called the AD and ordered one. Now I'm jonesing for a seawolf avenger.

I can imagine the strap-loosening issue may not happen on some people, due to differences in fit, wrist size/shape, etc. However, a test that I perform is to take the watch off, and squeeze the inside of the folding clasp in the direction of the PUSH button located beneath it, while simultaneously tugging on the rubber portion of the strap. With my strap, it was rather easy to consistently replicate the PUSH button "skipping teeth" and the strap loosening, with this test. And if you have good eyes, you could even see the displacement of the PUSH button, every time you squeeze the folding portion of the clasp.

I did a bit of that before switching to electronics, then the legal game...I too wonder about Breitling clasps. I have a Bentley GT and the bracelet is awesome, but the clasp mechanism, whilst working fine, isn't up to the standard of the rest of the watch. I'd like a machined block - a bit too much stamped and bent SS!

I have a Panerai 1950 Regatta Flyback with these little sprung BBs in the clasp which require a regular WD-40 in order to fully extend and lock in. I don't really mind - it's like a Lambo, it's finicky and needs attention! But it doesn't sound like a dab of WD-40 will solve the issue with the Ocean Racer clasp...
