Does anyone know if it's possible to get an exhibition back to fir my BB? For me, it's the one thing that's missing from the watch.

I imagine the back of a new B01 will fit, but I also imagine that would be about the most expensive way possible!

Thanks folks.

Well firstly the Chronomat B01 caseback probably won't fit the BB as they are differently cased models, and secondly, even if it did fit, it wouldn't do you a lot of good as the Chronomat B01 doesn't have a DB!

In terms of getting hold of a DB, there used to be a guy from Germany on the internet who used to sell via eBay who used to produce very good aftermarket DB's for a range of watches like the Chrono Avenger. I've not seen anything on the net for ages, but you may be able to find someone out prepared to make one...... provided you don't mind the lack of serial or model number on it, and the fact that it's aftermarket.

I just googled based on what you said and found someone called Thomas Preik. Does that sound familiar?

I think that was the guy - but remember that you'll have to put the original caseback back on before ever the watch gets anywhere near Breitling.

That's my concern. Mallory of Bath have an in-house watchmaker who I'd like to make the switch, but as they're the AD I bought from I'd worry about word getting back to Breitling.

Does anyone have an experience of Thomas Preik's work? I really want a DB but it's potentially a big risk. It is something of a dilemma for me. Any advice?
