Very nice, I am hoping to be wearing my new (to me) Blackbird as well. I bought through a seller on BWSF and should have it about a week. I'm sure it will look great with ACUs, but will have to keep it well protected from the climate and other hazards here in Afghanistan. I'm certain it will be a hit with my fellow soldiers.
I will post pics when it arrives.

I'm not wearing a watch at all today, and I feel naked without one on!!!!!! It feels like there's something wrong with my arm!

(I was running late for work and was out of the door before I realised, but didn't have the time to go back. That's what comes of going to work in a semi-conscious state!)

see thats would worry me two fold.

1. id feel half naked
2. id worry that some scrot will rob my house and rather than have to crack the safes to get to my goodies he'd only have to look on the side eeek

I know what you mean! I have no technical need for a watch whilst at work, and indeed sometimes I may not even look at it all day, but it just doesn't feel right without it!

I've forgotten my keys, cell phone, wallet, ring, but never my watch. I don't feel balanced without something on my left wrist. I can't even take out the trash without a watch on. I can only imagine how naked you feel.

Wearing my Blue CSO today.

There you go again Driver8 proving to be a bigger man than me. If I was in that situation I would have ended up going back for the watch and while on the way to the meeting conjure up about 101 reasons or should I say excuses for being late.

Wearing this with the new strap I purchased yesterday

Jerome - looks great on the strap. How do you like it compared to the bracelet?

I'm torn about whether to get a strap, and if I do, whether to get brown or black.

Kstone,

I actually prefer the leather strap for two reasons the first being it comes across a bit dressier than the bracelet and secondly now that its more of a dress watch I now don't feel as bad that I'm babying it. I've been torn for the past few days because of my perception that the Navitimers are not as robust as the others. Now that its on a strap I might treat it accordingly (hopefully less likely to dunk the watch, which seem to be a common practice when I'm bathing the little ones) compared to my "put it on and forget" approach to my other watches.

But all in all I really like this combination -

I was sold on the black strap from the first time I saw a black on black Navitimer and was also considering a brown but they didnt have one in stock.

Jerome, with that strap you've hit on my favourite Navitimer combination. Looks fantastic, wear it well
