Stopped by my AD today and saw some of the new pieces. Just thought I would offer some thoughts.

The CM49 is nice - saw both the 1461 and the QP (both in RG). The crown is still on the wrong side for me, and the price is crazy - C$59K for the QP.

The Chrono Cockpit was a nice looking piece, although it seemed a little smaller than the older one to me - though no comparison to be sure.

The Colt GMT+ was very nice as others have said, although to me the dial looked very small relative to the bezel.

The silver stencilled numbers did look good, but I personally prefer the white ones - the silver didn't seem to contrast so much, and looked quite dark at some angles.

The Skyracer Raven certainly gave it a different look - saw the grey skyracer alongside a black rave and they looked very different - not for me though I'm afraid. It was on the Diver Pro II - and that was bland.

The Navitimer 125, looked kind of ordinary to be honest - brown on brown croc (no aero racer) and it didn't stand out at all - a little disappointing.

That's all they had there, nice enough but nothing that tempted me to spend any money (at least on Breitling).

One other note - they can get hold of a new ASBS if anyone is interested........

Hey Ian - it stands for Quantieme Perpetuel - basically a perpetual calendar.

@Roff - The new models are apparently as ordinary in the flesh (metal) as they appear on a web-page then! Oh and that is ludicrous money for the CM49 QP!

I guess it's subjective, but certainly didn't do it for me. I agree on the pricing for the QP - even with a decent discount it's crazy, especially when you think what else you can get for that money.

Roff,
that's one great AD; stocking all those "beauties"... :lingsrock:
We are talking TO, right? Which one specifically?
I would love to drive down with the family one weekend and drop by the AD to do a full inspection 8)

Would that be with the metallic numbers, or do you just mean a new one with the white numbers?

The original, white numbered AS BS from 2007 / 08 - they just have access to one final remaining one. I suppose I should buy it myself and then sell for a profit

 I thought the words "sell" and "profit" don't mix at the moment as far as watches are concerned!

Hence why I didn't buy it.

I'm pretty sure I could make money with my discount, but it's just not worth the risk at this point. Just think back 6 months on here - if I had posted that I had access to an ASBS my inbox would have been inundated, now - nothing. The market for these things just isn't there.

I really didn't like the new Colt GMT when I first saw the pictures, but now that I've seen it in the "flesh" I don't mind it. I still don't know if it's better than its predecessor. The bracelet is quite a bit wider, which further contributes to the appearance of a smaller dial. They've also increased the price of the GMT.

The biggest disappointment for me from the new Breitlings is the updated dial for the Navitimer Montbrillant. The extra ring on the dial and then the cut-out of the "B" logo just didn't do it for me at all.
