It seems that the micro adjustment is adjusting to a few clicks wider as I wear it throughout the day. I find mysef takng the watch off to re-adjust it. I haven't properly sized the band yet, so it fits rather loosely on my wrist...couldthis be why the adjustment is not staying put?

I haven't worn my OR since last summer (about 8 months) but I have no recollection of this happening.

Do you notice after you make the adjustment, that the part inside the clasp that says "PUSH" is getting stuck, or maybe not clicking all the way back out? Is it possible that one of the teeth is stripped somehow, or the slots into which they click? You should have four teeth (two on each side) which click into the triangular slots to hold it in place. If one or more of those is flat-spotted, or not seating properly, this could certainly cause it to move throughout the day. I'm not sure what else to look at. I don't see how anything could accidentally push that mechanism while it's on your wrist, no matter how active you are or how loose you're wearing it, because the "PUSH" adjustment is pretty well protected by the folding clasp on the inside.

The adjuster locks into place but It seems to be that the inside of the clasp is pushing against the PUSH button on the micro adjustment causing it rachet open, while the clasp is closed. If I pinch on the clasp while closed I can actually slide the micro adjuster back in forth. So I guess whatever pressure I put on the clasp while wearing the watch is causing the inside to hit the button and ratchet it open...dont think this is normal. I'm not much of a complainer, but if this IS NOT a common/normal problem I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this BEFORE I give Govberg a call. This maybe a situation which buying from my local AD may have been a better idea!

Thanks

I just walked upstairs (the lengths I'll go for total strangers on this forum is astounding, right?) and I cannot squeeze/pinch the inside folding part of the clasp hard enough to hit that PUSH piece. I tried everything from very light pressure to very firm pressure, and I still can't get that PUSH piece to depress. I can't speak to the number of people who have noticed this - this is the first I've heard of it - but I would say it's time to give Govberg a call.

I don't recall it coming up on here before. I don't have an OR myself, but my wife does and she has definitely never had this - definitely worth checking with the AD.

I have noticed this as well recently. I have been adjusting the strap to the tightest fit and later in the day, I will get a few more clicks... So it must be loosening throughout the day. At first I thought, how cool that it self adjusts as my wrist expands during the day! Your not alone.

Now we know why Breitling didn't put the OR on the BS models......

DP, all the way

Yes, they couldn't DLC the clasp and be sure that it wouldn't rub off (as DLC rubs DLC).

Nothing to do with the nature of the adjustment.

I was one of the first people on here to get an OR in 22mm. Since then, I've worn it almost daily on my Steelfish or Skyland Avenger and have never encountered a problem with it loosening by itself.

I've also encountered this same problem throughout the day on my OR.

Just want to thank everyone for all their input! Spoke to George at Govberg, he told me to first have the watch sized and if the problem still persists he'll take care of it. It is VERY loose as of now. I have 7.5" wrists and the unsized band has enough room to fit a GORILLA! I'll size it up tonight, and see if it helps wearing it tommorrow.....
