Went in my Local Ad yesterday to buy the infamous diamond bezelled and dialled Chronomat TT that I have been discussing on the forum for the last few weeks. But after trying it on, It did not look right. looked to Blingy. Don't get me wrong it was beautiful to look at but I would have felt conspicuous with that much bling, almost like a rapper. Plus the wearing opportunities to wear this type of watch and not get Mugged were probably very little. So I am now the proud owner of the TWO new watches below. A Choromat Evoltion TT rose Gold and an Omega Seamaster Chonogragph. hope you like them. :lingsrock:

Love the Evo, I like the Omega on Rubber better or with Orange Leather.
Nice watches though.

Thanks Chris
Thanks GZGym1
Thanks Bnewbie
I have had a good day today photographing and cleaning them etc. Why do we have to have finger prints? Wearing two watches in a day is something very new to me. Great though :D

Well after seeing this color on watches a lot in the last couple of years i started to do some research as to why this might be. After finding out what i thought to be the answer I called Omega and a couple other watch companies and they all verified my findings that orange is the last color your eyes can see (deepest depth down) when diving underwater. Makes sense now doesnt it? My question is why hasnt this color been used more on dive watches in the past. its only in the last handful of years that you have seen it used so widely

Rebnah. Thanks for your comments, the PO in Orange comes with a lot of combo's including Orange sapphires and white Diamonds on the bezel in white gold case/bracelet. (challenging breitling for Bling me thinks!) I've seen photos but not in the flesh. Did not know it come on rubber, thought it was orange or black leather straps if not on a bracelet.

Great pair, the PO is much worse with fingerprints on the AR coating so have fun cleaning it. Here is my brother's PO on my wrist.

As a scuba instructor I can tell you that if you are in a place that is dark enough not to be able to see your instrument you always have a light with you. Furthermore the color of the bezel of your watch is irrelevant. All you need to be able to do is see the watch, not what color it is.

Most modern instruments (at least the higher end) have backlights as well. ;)
