I've been tortured by images of that damn black dialed Skyland for along while now..and no good deals on a previously loved one have been coming up, so I broke down and ordered one!
I ordered a OP strap for it as well!
So, what does this mean...it means I will be one happy clam tomorrow! It also means I'm done with watch purchases for the year and it's only April! With getting my wife her Cockpit Lady recently and the Skyland, I've exhausted all of my watch "play" money I reserved for the year. So, it will only be a one out, one in situation now...unless I sell something, I'll be just drooling over watches and hanging out here!
Maybe start playing with the watch photos now...Expect some new ones soon!

Congrats Chris! :lingsrock:

Next time you are out sipping moonshine with Hawkeye, Honeycutt and Col. Potter, you can talk about the mash numbers on your watch :nana: :nana:

Great purchase, wear it well.
Mark

Oh come on now Mark! I know you are not a fan of the stenciled numbers, but I just think it's a unique look. Kind of like the Herc...You know the Herc don't you... :poke:
Now hold onto that puppy will ya! :nana:

You are right, I don't like them, but i am in a very small minority. Everyone loves that watch, and you should be pretty happy about getting it. Looking forward to the pics, maybe you'll change my mind about the numbers. I'm in the "one in, one out" situation right now, hence the sale of something is coming.

Tell me about it!! One minute they were everywhere, and the next, none to be had. It is nice to have a fresh watch though, and I don't plan on letting this one go anywhere. It will sit next to the Herc and be worn for many years to come.

Can I be Hawkeye?

I think the stenciled numbered Avengers will be one of the most recognizable Lings in the future. Just my opinion.
Ooooh, my box just arrived...but I'm at work...Should I open it? Everyone gets so nosey, what did you get, what did you get..Another watch! They just don't understand :lingsrock:
