Just wondering if someone had an idea of the second hand market price for these.
Thanks
Chris

There's a Grey B-1 SQ on the bay at the moment for £820 with a day and a bit to go.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BREITLING-B1_W0QQ ... dZViewItem

If it goes for £1000 it will be a good price - £1200 would be my guess.

That said the prices fluctuate so much - especially on ebay. I paid about £800 for my mint B-1 Blue (non SQ) and got another for around £650. Then the next week the same models are going for £900 plus.

Also - you're in the US so it's a different market there too.

Why the SQ BTW? My non SQ is still a lovely timekeeper and the choice and price is more open.

Thanks BB for th info. The reason for the SQ is that a buddy of mine has one FS and I was just wondering what is a fair price for both of us. Since I am not too familiar with the watch, I figured I'd ask.
I'm still not totally sure about the digital displays on them, so I'm not totaly sold yet. I think the B2 maybe more my style, but I was looking for a Quartz Ling for time where I don't want to worry about jarring around any of my mechanicals. Ie..Going to Busch Gardens (roller coasters, water rides), Disney etc...I'd still like to wear a nice Ling, but not have to worry about it.
If you have any other option ideas, they would be appreciated!

I understand if you are trying to convince yourself that you "need" a quartz ling for the amusement park, but I am quite sure that your Herc can handle anything that Bush Gardens can throw at it.

Damn! You figured me out Mark! I do alot of "convincing myself" these days!
I wouldn't want to take a chance and hurt my Herc!
Ok, so I'm getting a little too impatient trying to find my Skyland I want, so I was looking for an affordable new piece to satisfy my urge.

RECOVERING!!

What are you playing at - who wants to recover from an obsession with beautiful timepieces?

Seriously - you should bear in mind that althogh quite rugged the quartz/analogue displays can become out of sync if subjected to knocks. Easy to re-sync but something to consider.

Sounds like my alternate suggestion of an Avenger of some type is already something you want anyway.

Happy hunting either way - always great to be adding to the collection :lingsrock:

True enough. Maybe recovering is too optomistic, but I have gone from one watch a week to one a month. Thats pretty good... no?
