Sorry Sonyman, but it's you!

I wouldn't say it's the most attractive piece they've ever made, but it's a LONG way from being ugly IMO. I'd take one of them over every single one of the 2009 pieces.

:yeahthat

They aren't selling though - you can get very significant discounts on them, and don't be surprised if they disappear soon.

The jump hour complication is a bit of an acquired taste, Breitling might be better with a regulator dial (but that's probably a little daring).

whilst I admit that the new styles are not really my taste I think watches should be round unless they are JLC wich I quite like being oblong but this is ugly mate I have seen better looking fakes in Asia than this  ok well not fakes but you get my point :lingsrock:

I saw that exact one selling for 55% off. Not a bad looking piece imo.. I really like the rose gold chrono.

I would probably choose another Breitling piece or two before I picked up a Flying B, but they are not ugly. The gold version of these pieces look great IMO. For me, I would prefer this watch on a croco strap in rose gold.

Breitling discontinued this model this year. I kinda liked it. If you want one its time to pick it up!

I actually think it is a very lovely watch, especially the tt rose gold dial one, I just have a hard time with watches that try to be too different when it comes to the most essential thing of all..Telling the time. The reason one hand marking the hour and the other marking the minutes is so popular is that it works beautifully simply, anything else to me just is confusing. I think the only other display that works as efficiently is the digital display. Once you get used to it even the 24 hour dials are perfect. but a jumping number and one hand waving about to display the minutes past, just uneccesary for me!
I think If I were in the market for that case style I would go for the NO.3, absolutley stunning watch I think, especially with the MOP markers!

Not my favourite model. I would have to say that Breitling did not put their best foot forward on that one.
I would not call it ugly either. Some of the models are quite attractive. I have nothing against the shape of that case either. To me, it is just something about the dial/subdials layout that doesn't do it.
I think really that it's too much case and "filler" and not enough dial. The dials are rather small for the size of the case.
Cheers,
Carl

I wouldn't say that it's ugly, more of an acquired taste i.e. it would take a little time to get used to. Not my personal favourite but I can appreciate it because it is a little different.

I just got back from a dealer where I tried on a Flying B diamondworks...$147,000! I cant imagine anybody buying that thing. Anyway, it was my first time handling a flying B and to be honest I kind of liked it. It wore really nice on my 6.75" wrist. The lugs were perfectly set to the edges of my wrist. With the deals we're seeing on these things these days, I think they are looking mighty fine.
