Are there any special watches that are hard to find or require a wait list at the jewelers?

Some are in higher demand than others especially when they first come out. Exp: At first SA's were hard to find, then you were able to find white and blue dials but black was still scarce. Now they can all be found.

Some watches have to be sourced through an AD rather than just being able to walk into a store and pick them up - less popular colours for example, and some of the more popular models involve ordering and then waiting weeks or months for a watch to be assigned to that AD to fill the order (kinda like new cars) - Super Avenger is a recent example as Mario says.

In terms of truly hard to find, only really Limited Editions, although some of the discontinued models are uncommon on the secondary market.
