I sent my B-2 in for a repair, had the receipt through the post on the 21/01/09 stating that an estimate will follow shortly.

How long does this normally take ? I don't want to chase the nice people there up just yet :D

I agree with Alex. At least 10 working days.

Not like you pop a hand between it's legs and ask it to cough....or whack a cold stethoscope on a sub dial and ask it to breath in.........I think they need invasive surgery to ascertain the true illness.

since when was the B-2 a quartz?!

When B-UK serviced my Navitimer last year, it cost £285.

That was the price immediately quoted by the AD.

B-UK also replaced the hands...

I'd not send them the watch if they're going to perform a quartz service on your B-2. Rather I'd call BUK and ask them politely if they could explain how they were thinking. :)
