Hi everyone,

This is my 1st post.

I am looking to buy a Chrono-Matic 44mm. version, which has been recently discontinued. Any reason why I should stay away from this particular model? Anything wrong with the movement or reliability? I am not a collector, I just want a watch that I like, and keep it for a long time.
My guess is that it was not as popular. If so, does this mean a lesser value in the future?
I did some research and couldn't find much.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I saw one here in Holland two months ago which was new but marked down considerably from 3350 euro to 2150... or something like that. If you want I can pm you the details of the AD. in Amsterdam,
pete

Amazing watch!

No inherent problems, and a bit of a surprise that it has been discontinued - don't be surprised if another version appears at Basel.

I don't think future value is going to be impacted negatively - if anything the opposite (marginally).

There's still the Chrono-matic 49.

And the crown's on the wrong side for it to be a true Chronomatic.
