I think those were inactive non activated users...no need to backup them.

I don't think the non-activated users were actually deleted.. phpBB3 just doesn't count or add non-activated users to the memberslist.. they still exist somwehere in the database, they just don't show up in the memberlist. I remember that throwing me off before... because If i go into the admin, they are still there, they just don't count.

That's pretty nuts tho.. we lost about 500 members when we upgraded!! That means 500 people didn't activate their accounts! I didn't even notice that til you guys pointed it out.. thanks!

Just so you guys know.. there were 2 big deciding factors that I chose phpBB3 over vBulletin:

1. The Database conversion is almost seamless. Almost every single option, setting, rank, avatar, smilie, etc is converted over from phpBB2 to phpBB3. This is not the case with vBulletin conversion.

2. The URLs for all of the threads remain the same.. so anyone who has ever bookmarked a page in the forum, or any search results on goodle or yahoo for the forum will still work just like they did before.

So I hope you enjoy it.. The smiles over there are getting out of hand a bit, might have to tweak that :D

PS: Just noticed this new system tells you when someone has posted while you are writing a post, and lets you edit your response just in case!

Great news, Admin. May I suggest if it's possible, when link or attachment is clicked to be opened in a new tab, not in the same.
