Breitling has basically used a similar system before iwc, in breitling for bentley. But in order to achieve this both the breitling for bentley and the aquatimer have a mecanisme on the case at 9. You can’t have the same case design and on the navitimer …Is not going to look goud.

absolutely "possible", just useless as a sliderule calculator. these inner rotating setting bezels appeared much earlier with "Compressor" cases manufactured by EPSA Piquerez, used by Universal Geneve, JLC, Vulcain, Longines, Enicar - and later IWC.

Mr. Fred I have the feeling that it does not refer to the vintage collection aquatimer with the compressor case, but to the latest generation aquatimers in which indeed the inner bezel rotated from the bezel but in order to achieve this they have the mechanism in 9. Something similar to the breitling for bentley if I'm not mistaken .

ah, yes, Vassilis, now I see. geared outer/inner bezel, as discussed and shown above, adding the ca. 5mm diameter.

This is one of Breitling's best release so far, and I look forward in getting one.

Thanks for sharing. I think the way a separate crown actuates the inner bezel of the iwc aquatimer, I would have imagined you guys could have connected the entire navitimer's rotating bezel in a similar way so it works like the crown on the aquatimer to rotate the inner sliderule.
