So confusing out there!
Can anyone help. I need to know what the case back size is on the Breitling B1 to change the battery? I've read multiple forums and they all give differing answers. I've now bought three tools and none fit. The serial number is A78362.

I can’t help you with the caseback size, but have you tried the rubber ball technique? YouTube has lots of examples of it being used. I’ve used it myself on admittedly cheaper watches in the past and it’s always worked for me. An alternative is to wrap sticky tape around you hand, sticky side out, and use that to manually twist the caseback.

Hi bud,

The case back On a B1 is a notoriously tough one to crack. It’s I think it’s 18 side die. I tried the ball etc etc, but you need the correct Die Tool. I had mine, and my friends done by Chatfields in Eastbourne. Not sure if you are in the UK. Look them up. Really reliable and cost effective.

I bought one of those cheap tools off ebay and it seems to do the job fine. It's marked RUISHI 35 BRL I had the same reference number B1.
